Absinthe "chasing the green fairy"?
has anyone had absinthe, and if so is it as good of a buzz as i’ve been told, what is the best way to drink it. And last but not least where is the best place to get it from?

Wow, Cartier95 what a great response…to keep mine short Absinthe is illegal to sell in the USA, you can however order online, it is not illegal to have or consume here! The wormwood is also sold in health food stores..but it alone wont make you "chase green faeries"! lol
The best way to drink it is in an absinthe glass with an absinthe spoon, place a sugar cube on the specially designed spoon, pour your absinthe over it into a glass containing a splash of h20, and a few cubes of ice…yum!

ah, absinthe, my friend and enemy. how i drink mine is i pour a shot in a whiskey tumbler and then submerge a teaspoon of sugar into it, then i lift the spoon out and light the greeny goo on it, let it burn for a while till it starts to bubble then drop the flaming liquid into the glass,
lift glass–> drink warm absinthe —> get a mate to drive home.

Absinthe gives a buzz similar to any other alcohol.
The best way to drink it is by adding ice cold water.
It is illegal to sell absinthe in the US.

Well since cartier95 answered most of the questions regarding absinth I will just provide you will the link to purchase the best one’s online.
This place is the most reliable of the Absinth distributors and I have known many people to use them without fail. Remember to check out the reviews of the absinthes before you decide on one because just like rums, vodkas and whiskeys, there are bad ones….
